Laykhaus is partnering with Goldilocks Goods and Sheringham Distillery to host a shoreline clean up at Gordons beach on Vancouver Island in October. With an aim to promote healthy marine environments, we will engage our own teams and the local community in a cleanup of a beautiful beach in the Sooke District.
With over 27,000km of coastline in British Columbia these eco-systems provide a home to wildlife and plants and the threats of ocean based garbage and plastic pollution is real. The scope of the problems facing our marine environments are vast but through tangible efforts we can all make a difference one kilometre at a time.
